Tough couple of years for Van de Merwe.. he left Edinburgh to play for Worcester and then Worcester went into administration..leaving many players adrift. He grouped and rejoined Mike Blair’s Edinburgh side.
Although South African born, he qualified to play for Scotland 🏴 by his first two year stint at Edinburgh…. and what a qualification.
He’s 6”2 and has an acceleration that leaves defense’s decimated.
On Saturday the 4th of February, 2023… He ran through the entire English team to score at Twickenham. Securing his own position as one of Scotland’s greatest try scorers and Securing Scotland’s 5 Calcutta cup win in 6 years.
A brilliant player.
Drawn on watercolour paper with CaranD’ache pencils and FaberCastell ink fine liners …. Finished with molotow White acrylic and Farrow and Ball Ultra Marine Blue No W29.
Gicleé printed on Hahnemuhle Agave paper and finished with a deckled rough ripped edge.
Prints are available in two sizes - A4 (210mm x 297mm) and A3 (297mm x 420mm)
They are hand finished, hand stamped, signed and numbered.
